Our Organization

Founded in 1996, Janta Rehabilitation Training Centre for the Visually Handicapped is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to the holistic rehabilitation of visually impaired adults. We believe that every individual deserves not just basic care, but the opportunity to learn, grow, and become self-sufficient.

Our Facilities

Despite limited resources, we have created a vibrant and functional environment for our students:

Health and Nutrition

We provide a balanced, varied diet tailored to the needs of our students, along with RO-filtered drinking water. Personal hygiene is a priority: soap, toothpaste, brushes, shampoo, and detergent are supplied at no cost. Basic medical treatment is available on-site, and in serious cases, students are taken to the hospital. Weekly barber visits are arranged for grooming and personal care.

Our Mission

Our primary goal is to equip visually impaired individuals with skills for employment or self-employment, enabling them to lead independent, dignified lives and integrate fully into society.

The Meaning Behind Our Name

Our name is our promise: to provide complete support and skill-building for the visually impaired, ensuring their social and economic inclusion.
